Integratiivinen lääketiede / CAM opetetaan ja tutkitaan yhä enemmän lukuisissa yliopistoissa ja tutkimuskeskuksissa Euroopassa ja maailmalla. Useissa Euroopan maissa ja USA:ssa valtio tukee säännöllisesti tutkimusprojekteja IM/CAM alalla. Maailmalla on useita IM/CAM alan professuria ja tutkimusverkostoja.

The Competence Network for Integrative Medicine (KIM) is an innovative collaboration of hospitals, outpatient centres, and research institutes localised in Baden-Württemberg, the south-western Federal State in Germany. Since its foundation in November 2017, the KIM partners work for the development, implementation, and evaluation of integrative treatment concepts. Partners are hospitals, outpatient centres and research units. The vision behind their collaboration is to create a growing network that stands for efficacy, quality, and safety of integrative medicine.
KIM is funded by the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg (D) and closely collaborates with academic networks, such as AZIM.

Brazilian Academic Consortium for Integrative Health
The Brazilian Academic Consortium of Integrative Health is a network of more than 500 researchers from more than 60 public and private universities throughout Brazil, working in partnership with international research institutions to promote scientific research of integrative and complementary approaches to health through the systematization and production of studies and research to expand, disseminate and make the systematization of scientific evidence more accessible.
The Traditional, Complementary, and Integrative Medicine Network for the Americas (TCIM Americas Network) is a collaborative initiative, created with the objective of interconnecting several stakeholders involved in the formulation of policies, regulation, training, promotion, practice, use and research of TCIM in the Americas. The aim is to develop a common agenda and advance in the integration of TCIM in healthcare systems and services according to each national context.
The Virtual Health Library on Traditional, Complementary, and Integrative Medicine of the Americas (VHL TCIM) is a thematic VHL which specializes in Traditional, Complementary, and Integrative Medicine (TCIM) and its related health practices.
The VHL TCIM aims to promote the presence, access, use, and publication of scientific, technical, and educational content that will contribute to the promotion, development and integration of the TCIM into health care services and systems in the Americas Region through the collaboration of stakeholders.
